Total Solar Eclipse
12 August 2026
A 3D simulation built from real ephemerides. Track the umbra as it sweeps across Greenland, Iceland and Spain, then stand under it — totality seen from a dozen locations along the path, from deep totality with the Sun high over Greenland to the Sun setting mid‑eclipse over the Mediterranean.
Launch simulationThe simulation is a single self-contained page — the first load pulls the full ephemeris and texture set, so give it a moment before the sky appears.

Lyapunov map of the Lorenz system
chaos and order in the (ρ, β) plane
Every pixel is a separate integration of the Lorenz equations and their variational equation, coloured by the largest Lyapunov exponent. Warm regions are chaotic; the cool filaments winding through them are periodic windows, where the system falls back onto a stable cycle. Pan and zoom through 5.6 million precomputed integrations.

interactive flat-FRW cosmology
Explore how dark-energy histories determine the future of the universe. Adjust the Hubble constant, matter density and equation-of-state parameters, then compare eternal expansion with turnaround and recollapse in real time.

the blended origins of the elements
Explore the periodic table by nucleosynthetic source. Every element is split by the estimated contribution from the Big Bang, cosmic rays, dying stars, stellar explosions and neutron-star mergers. Filter by source, hover for percentages, or switch to a detailed table view.
